We are searching for bigger premises , But in these unusual time we are being cautious at the though of too much expansion

We are also getting geared up to do Wheels and tyres

thanks for the Push fezza
Being cautious may be sensible, overextending a risk in these times, COVID 19, Brexit. They say if their is no Brexit deal it will be far worse than COVID 19 has been financially.

Wow radar calibration is a little steep , But i guess all these gadgets are there to generate money ha ha

I helped a client fit a new battery to his T 6 yesterday and the battery had to be coded in with Vag com WHAT ??

A thumbs-up to Steve and staff at @CRS Performance from me, after a 330 mile round trip to sort out my suspension.
I was running the Stance+ Ultra coil overs, but because my camper conversion is really heavy, the kit couldn’t cope (the rears were compressed). A few messages and conversation with Steve led us to decide on the KW coil over kit.
After a bit of a delay in manufacturing/importing (Steve told me his last order alone cleared out three factories) he texted me to let me know the kit had arrived.
I trundled up there and, within an hour, the van was getting lowered back down to the floor so I could see if I was happy with the drop. Cue some fettling and a short while later I was giving it a road test. I’d opted to go higher, because as nice as having a belly-scraping van was, catching it on every sepedbump was starting to grow tiresome!

The KW kit is worlds better than the Stance+.
Potholes don’t feel and sound and crashy, the van doesn’t seesaw, and the overall road noise has decreased.

I wish I’d gone to see a suspension specialist in the first place now!

Steve also fitted a larger starter-battery whilst I was there and even though it was late in the day, didn’t seem to mind the wait whilst I looked up the forum thread on how to program it, nor charge for the time / VCDS.

Overall I’d highly recommend CRS Performance to anyone, van or car. Why go to a garage who know a little about lowering when you can go to a specialist who has a wealth of knowledge and application. You just need to see the carpark full of Transporters and the mezzanine floor full of boxes of suspension to see that he’s able to cater for all, swamper or low ride.

Thanks again, Steve. The 165m drive home was a lot more pleasant than the drive up!

Hi Adam , so glad we could sort your Van out . . The difference was highly noticeable i am sure . Ill try to plan the production better in future so we can avoid the out of stock situation which seems to plaque the transporter market . We have lots of stock now and already planning the next production run .

Spoke to Steve for the first time on the phone today.
we discussed my requirements and the options that would be available to meet them.

I must say he inspired nothing but confidence and I can’t wait to get up there and get my van fitted with the kit.

I will keep you posted how things went

Heading there tomorrow myself. Going high for winter and mountain fun in the new year (if we're allowed to travel!)

Well, back from a long drive and Im a happy man. Fantastic advice and service from Steve and the boys at CRS. The van drives fantastic and sits great on the new wheels.

Koni shocks with standard springs sitting 20mm higher than standard.

My two penny’s worth.
I read a lot of reviews about Steve at CRS Performance. Cannock is 40 minute drive away.
I read up on what I wanted to achieve.
Same height ‘ish. But I wanted comfort, like comfort that was derived from the best shock absorber for under £1500. Fitted.
I rang and spoke with Steve.
Detailed my requirements.
Arrived and they installed the kit, the height at the front was too low.
They removed all the front suspension again.
Micrometer adjusted the clamp and Shock.
Ordered thicker heavy duty too mount.
I bought us the sarnies, Steve picked up BEST !
Kit installed, Steve at CRS will detail better if I got it wrong !
H&R 30mm diameter front & rear ARB.
original Cali Ocean 6.1are 24mm front and 25mm rear. Woefully under rated IMHO for a 3 ton Campervan.
Koni shock absorbers on each corner, dual shock with frequency self adjusting technology.
Same technology they use in very high end
My review and findings below.

Before: sloppy and feels like it’s going to tip over, point it to a bend and worry the back is going to overtake the front, feeling like I’m driving a bus.
Bouncy castle effect feels like being on the venga bus.
Whilst driving at 81mph in France, feels bouncy and if you hit a large undulation in the road it’s just not the best feeling.
Pull out of a junction a little spiritedly, the front wheels can spin and lose traction.

After: taught steering, turn into a bend and the whole chassis feels like it sits down and is flat, with no roll, no feeling of wanting to tip over.
Planted going over speed humps, potholes, dips and bumps. No rattling or wobbling of things inside.
Whilst driving at motorway speeds, feels planted to the road, bends and undulating road surface soaked up and causes zero concerns, leaving one more relaxed whilst driving.
A more rounded enjoyable driving experience.
Lower only 20mm on the front height clearance, but gained a truckload of enjoyable driving experience. At 30mph on B roads, the idiots who pull out in front of you, causing you to jab the brakes, the whole body hunch’s down on its 4 corners rather than tipping you forward.
It’s like the suspension knows what you want, it’s hard when you want a quick manoeuvre. It’s soft and supportive like a good bra!! When you need it to soak up the bumps and holes.
Truly awe inspiring shock absorber.
It uses Koni’ patented frequency selective damping to ensure the correct level of damping on each corner as to the ever changing road conditions.
Another example, when I pull out of a road, used to get a small amount of tyre spin, and lose traction, tried the same junction, same wet greasy cold road. (I’ve still got the newish BFG K02’s on) And no wheel spin, it’s like the shock is holding the rear, no wheelie as the weight is transferred to the rear of the chassis, and I don’t get that lift up at the front anymore. Pushing the front down so more power is delivered and it’s a lot more noticeable for feeling stuck to the road.
The shock absorbers are truly a work of art.
The extra size diameter of the ARB will help in tandem with the shocks, and keep everything feeling tight and controlled.
That’s the feeling, tight, controlled, as if I am back in control and it’s going to go where I point it. And stay there

A truly massive Thank You to Steve (Steve’s!) at CRS Performance in Cannock.
Glad I went with spending money on suspension that £640 on Lazer lights !! Maybe next year.
Wrote a separate thread to help anybody thinking about what to have on a 6.1 Cali Ocean

@CRS Performance

My experience from @CRS Performance today has been great. My van was already lowered on eBay second hand H&R Springs but when Steve and Jordan saw the part numbers we realised that theyre for a lighter van and made by H&R to be a 'universal' type lowering kit for lighter transporters for Euro Car Parts, despite being boxed for a T30. So not an accurate set for my heavier DSG 204 at all. Consequently it was way too low for the standard shocks and rattled and clunked with no travel left. I had to buy new proper 50mm H&R springs suitable for my van while i was there to make the set up right, which non of us expected so Steve was (very) good on the price to help ease the blow, and they fitted the Koni shocks along with new springs as planned. Although the van now sits a little higher it still looks the part but more importantly it performs as it should. I've noticed it corners better, takes speed bumps and pot holes much nicer and doesnt judder all my kit in the back to bits when taking off abit hard from stand still. Very pleased the van feels and looks like it should.
