Cotswolds recommendations?

There are so many locations to recommend for the Cotswolds, but Broadway is a good location if you are looking for somewhere with a pretty town (relatively quiet), with lovely pubs, cafe's and food places. There are amazing walks and rides in and around here, and there is also the Lavender season kicking in mid-June, which whether you are into that thing or not, it makes for very attractive walking (fields of stunning purple flowers). Bourton-on-the-Water is a very popular location, but expect it to be slammed when COVID restrictions relax.
I’d agree with @Dan Morritz , Broadway is a good bet along with Snowshill lavender farms just outside and also Broadway Tower for great views on a clear day. Chipping Campden is also well worth dropping in to, if you’re in to NT properties then Hidcote is nearby and worth seeing.
The other main place is probably Stow On The Wold if you are passing through that area. There are lots of nice villages dotted around, and the whole area is beautiful (obviously as it has AONB status!)

We’ve stayed at Far Peak a few times. They have a massive climbing wall!
Chedworth Roman villa is nearby and well worth a visit. One time we were there they were undertaking digs on parts of the site.

We stayed here too a couple of years ago. There's a pub not too far away across the fields (assuming it's still open).

If you go to Moreton in the Marsh don’t forget to go and have an oggle in the Rennsport window

Oh and another thing. We purchased ice creams from the co-op or spar in Boughton, by the river. By the checkouts Magnums were £2 each. In the freezer section £4 for a box of 4.
Show me a location in the UK that won't be like that this year, apart from Leicester obviously.
Dont forget Richard the turd is a major attraction now as is Transporter HQ and Paintworx

Hook Norton - for the brewery...... but don't drive after drinking the Old Peculiar!! 
The Slaughters, very pretty stone built high streets but mainly because of the name each time.
