Coolant drain for EGR valve replacement

Hi,

Looking at replacing my EGR valve on a 2016 102. The guide in the downloads section is pretty clear. Is there a guide for draining/ replacing coolant? I would of thought it was straight forward but reading posts I’m not sure that the case?

Can the workshop manual section be posted?

I just took mine off and the coolant drained itself
put the new one on and refilled, no issues.

You could clamp the pipes to save draining the whole system.
