Put the winter steels on this weekend and am toying with the idea of banding them at some point.
So whilst in the garage on the level floor, i got a spirit level in the vertical position touching the top of the arc to measure the gap to the rim.
Fronts are both 1.5", but the back is 2" on drivers side, but 2.5" on passenger side.
Now I know bodywork is not going to be mm perfect, but I wasn't expecting 1/2" variation.
Anyone else noticed this on theirs, or is it just me?
Its a young van and no history of any serious damage of any kind. I got it direct from VW who have owned it since new.
