Rolling radius on the 19's with the low profile rubber & the 17" spare with standard wall height is the same, so I'm not worried as the spare would not be a long term fitment, more of a "get me home" scenario.
Originally fitted with a 16" spare, but that size rim wouldn't fit over the "big brakes" up front, if I ever had to do a road side swap.
I know I could do a rear to front swap & put the 16" spare on the back, but on a damp, cold, wet, dark night time wheel replacement, it wouldn't be an ideal time to use the Vw supplied "widow maker" scissor jack twice.
