Coding alarm chirp on 6.1

Hi. Does anyone know how to code alarm to chirp on locking/ unlocking for a 2023 t6.1 Highline on vcds. Was easy enough to do on my t6 but can’t find it on the 6.1.

Try this:

Transporter (T6.1) - Door lock/unlock confirmation (beep/horn) - VAG Coding

Purpose: to set confirmation of door locking/unlocking with beep (alarm) or horn. Attention! There are 5 lines of coding here, see 6. (After coding, activate the option on your screen if it doesn’t work, in CAR – Open/Close settings – check Acoustic Confirmation) Proceed : 1 – Engine off...

I did it with OBDELEVEN and it worked, but then I had to remove it, because I do not have the alarm horn and using the main horn was * too loud* !
If anyone knows how to add an alarm horn (without actually installing the alarm) I would appreciate it.

Hopefully you don't intend using your van on a campsite - you can quickly make yourself public enemy #1 with those annoying chirps.

Further to @FWhite's post, in the UK it's actually illegal if the function uses the vehicle's horn to make the noise... no judgement, just pointing that out.

not a camper just combi. Vehicle has separate siren doesn’t use horn when alarm sounds

Yes, it is unlegal here too. And for a good reason. The T 6.1 horn is objectively too loud. But you can choose in the adaptation which horn to use, and the alarm horn might be OK in a urban context. Alarm horn is the default, FWIK.
Unfortunately I don’t have the alarm horn physically installed to try it out.
