I am looking at getting some hiko wind deflectors with 2 options ,clips or stick pads. What is the best for a 6.1
Thanks

Lots of info on wind deflectors here...

Both!

I can vouch for edge visors off of Amazon. They have sticky pads all along and 3 clips betwixt also.

Go climair and add a few Hecko clips for good measure.

In not a fan of the external stick on types.

I had Heko, but after they kept falling out I swapped for climair..... Much better IMHO.

Another vote for Clim Air. I too fitted these to my T6.1 last year. No sticky pads just push in as per instructions and drilled a small hole for the front fixing. Very neat and look OEM. Absolutely no issues since fitting.

I’ve had Heko before, but much prefer the ClimAir.

@Dellmassive I want to change my deflectors what's the best way to get the old clips out

I’ve done this before on ‘other’ vehicles which had Heko.

Use a small screwdriver to push up past the little ‘sticky out lock tab’ that grips the rubber. Takes a bit of wiggling. Then ‘turn’ screwdriver to depress the tab a little. Then used a pair of straight long nose pliers to pull/wiggle it out.

An alternative that I did was with a pair of off-set needle nose pliers to slide the jaws either side of the clip and crush it. Then it’ll just pop out.

They are a PITA (hence why I wouldn’t bother with them personally).

Just be careful not to damage the window rubber. Be patient. Ease of removal depends on how much room is in the rubber (obvs all vehicles are different so can’t comment on ease on the T6.1).

Just my experience 👍

Note that the Climair now seems to come with a bottom fitting that hooks over the door trim and no longer needs the tiny hole and screw, making them even less invasive.

For the record I have the Climair ones and very happy with them.

Yeah as he said the new climb air versions, V2 or whatever they're called are now clip on without the drilling screw.

My climair's the original V1 screw in version.

On both vans.

But after a year or so I ended up getting a couple of the echo clips just to add in around the central section to stop any wobble.
