Hi there
I need some expert advice.
My t6 build date is next month.
I have given a deposit.
Due to my circumstance has changed can i cancel the order?
Will i only lose my deposit? Or is there somthing else coming my way?
I eould be grateful for advice.
Thanks

Believe that you will just lose your deposit. You can walk away at any point until such time as you sign the final forms. They can't make you buy the vehicle if you have changed your mind, but they will keep your deposit by way of recompense. They will then sell your vehicle on from their dealership.

You need to go into negotiation mode with the dealership. In theory they could keep your deposit but if you told them now that you don't want it they can probably sell it before it even gets to the dealership. Keeping 100% your deposit would be well greedy.

In fact why not advertise it for sale now. Although you ordered it there is no reason why you have to pay for it or even have it registered in your name. Somebody pays you the deposit, pays the dealer the balance and register it in their name. Wins all round

When i factory ordered mine the rep had £500 depo and said i could have it back any time if i wanted to cancel as they would sell the combi easy.

Sorry to read about the change in circumstances
Did you order before the price hike? The worst case scenario is you lose your deposit.
As long as the vehicle isn't a bizarre spec like an 84ps van with 6k of options then the dealer will be able to sell it on and may gjve you some of your deposit back. Dealer may even make more profit from selling it in to someone impatient.

Dealers are generally driven by money, not customer service. Hope things work out for you...
