I have a centre console taken out of my T6.1 that fits between the 2 front seats. It has 2 small drink holders a coin/junk tray and a sliding lid for more substantial storage. This is a great unit and so is useful to fill the gap for additional storage by the handbrake.
It is fitted by Velcro so is easily removable, although once in place I’m sure why you would!
