I’ve just put this in the van after it turned incredibly quickly from fleabay. It’s a bit tight on the handbrake but I can live with it.
Anyway to the question in hand it plugs into the cigarette socket which annoys me a bit, is there an easy way of wiring it in somewhere bearing in mind I’m electrically challenged

If that's a wireless charger then be aware that in most configurations that socket will be live all the time so you will drain the battery a bit, normally that socket is the starter battery if you have two.

All the feeds under the seats will also generally be live all the time.

The easiest place to pick up switched live will be the dash fusebox using a piggyback fuse, several threads on that but will take some effort moving panels and flooring to get that feed down to the seat area.

If you have a leisure battery under the seat you could potentially pick up a feed from there, you'll still get drain but it won't be off your starter battery.

Yeah I unplug it when I’m not driving as it will stay on, may just live with it as it stands.

There maybe a fusebox under the passenger seat, however it’s where the power for the fag lighter comes from so permanent live. I’ll try and find a photo!
