I am trying to upgrade from a simple on/off rocker switch to a CBE dimmer switch. I think I have wired it in correctly, but the lights are permanently on so I've clearly done something wrong.
The lights are the LED flush mount lights from Travelvolts.
I've run a +ve from the fuse box into the dimmer switch, then another from the dimmer switch into the lights and a -ve from the lights back to -ve on fuse box. I've then put a wire from the dimmer switch back to earth (I've used the earth point behind the wheel arch as my switch is on the rear side panel).
When wired up the lights are constantly on and the dimmer or on/off switch on the dimmer don't do anything. When I press the switch on the dimmer to 'on', the little green LED does come on and then goes off again when I switch it off.
Am I missing something?
Cheers
