anyone else getting connections issues every now and again on ios11 with CarPlay?

I keep getting this and it’s very frustrating!

I occasionally get this on an Apple original desk stand... but not had it connected to the van.

It’s the composition media 6.33 using anything really. Music included

ahhhhhhh.......
Do you know a somebody who has a similar iPhone updated that you could plug in?
Just to see if you have a corruption and need to reinstall your iOS?
If not you would have to guess there is a software clash with the VW unit.
I think I have the same the head-unit?, is yours the top of the range head-unit for for a T6?
I wondeer if the head-unit needs a software update on yours?, I don't seem to have the same problem?
Have you tried swapping the cable for another lightning cable just to rule it out?

Lol questions galore

So I spoke to Vw carnet and they said my device is not supported fully and to revert back to ios10... they guy was a wolly as the iPhone 8 came with 11 and no option of that.

So basically we are waiting for Vw to bring out a update or Apple to sort out their integration

Oh well posh people with iPhone 8's are just just test mules for us poor people.
Let me know when it is all sorted, so I think about trading up
