Carista - Updated Media Options (new Skins, Menu Options Etc).

A new set of media options were available via Carista yesterday. Once activated they allow a green engineering screen to be accessed via a long hold of the menu button. (I have Discover Nav Pro, so not sure about other models).

So far I've only managed to change the skin (style of the display) as I'm too nervous to mess around with it at the moment.

I'm sure some really good things can be done via the green engineering screen...but what? DOes anyone have any ideas?

On some other VW (car) related forums, I've read that there are equaliser options, startup screen options and rear fader activation etc...However, I've also read that you can lock your head-unit via this menu, so be careful!

Some nice access to detailed stats on radio/nav services..... like antenna reception =)

Has anyone managed to play with this yet? I’d really like to get my rear speaker fader enabled but don’t seem to live near anyone with Vagcom

I enabled the green screen on our Touareg and it allowed us to enable CD ripping to HDD, Bluetooth (we get this as standard on the T6) etc. but there is loads of stuff in there not to be changed unless you definitely know what it does.. (take a photo or write down any values if you change anything..)

Might have a go at this later and have a mooch about.
