Caravelle bed

Just wondering if anyone uses one for for long trips away and how comfortable they are, are they also the same as a cali bed or slightly different?

The Caravelle seat cushions are slightly more of a sculpted seat compared to the Cail ones. I think the Cali rear seats are flatter and more bed like.

I have a Caravelle rear, It's not too bad with a 4cm Duvalay but for longer stays I also have a VW matress that folds out over the bed.

Is the cali bed full width or have cupboards down one side? Caravelle bed is the whole width of the van so makes for a big sleeping area. Need a mattress or something to go over imo and if so I sleep well on it.

Does the vw mattress take out any unevenness in the seat ?

With a mattress on top you can't tell that it's not perfectly flat and it works for us. I've tried a custom built mattress and self inflating. Self inflating was much more comfortable put a pain in the ass to fold away.
