Hi, I've been searching for a thread that has already answered this to no avail. If I've missed it, apologies, I was sure it would have come up for someone before.
I have a 2015 T5.1 Transporter that I've begun to convert, currently has the bench seat in passenger side. Both driver and bench seat have swivels, but I've the opportunity now to buy two Caravelle captain seats that were taken from the back of a Caravelle. Both are set up with the seat belt going from left shoulder to right hip, both suited to being passenger seats, which isn't an issue really - I've seen a solution which I could do to adapt the belt for the driver's side if needed.
My issue is I'm wondering if I can fit the Caravelle seats onto the 4 holes of either the driver or passenger (middle 4 of 8 holes) I've seen that Caravelle and Transporter seats are interchangeable, but I haven't come across a plate to adapt these rail-based seats into the Transporter set up. I'm probably missing a simple, glaring solution, and if so apologies in advance. If anyone has advice, has completed a job like this before, or knows of how to adapt the Caravelle seats to the Transporter I'd be very grateful! Thanks
