in my old Kombi I had a Sony media system with a tomtom add on, I paid for tomtom traffic and found it to be really helpful, do you have to have a carstick to get the discover media system to do the same or is there am alternative way via app connect (iphone)

Basic traffic info works as standard and will warn you of delays/blockages etc
Some of the enhanced stuff needs connectivity ie When you get low on fuel it will suggest nearby petrol stations and if you are connected it will show you pricing as well as location
