Car net won't accept VIN

Anyone having trouble adding their VIN to car net?

Says my vehicle is incompatible.

I think it depends which head unit you have ? I have it running with mine, discover media sat nav head unit.

May be too new ? Think it can take a couple weeks to update for new vehicles, if you get stuck you could take it to your local dealer (if you have one) and ask them to help you do it and if it doesn't work they can raise a technical request with VW
FWIW your not missing anything critical so I wouldn't rush/panic over it

@StudleyGlass could be onto something though.
Do you have a carnet menu in the stereo settings ? discover media units have a carnet entry that you select in with all the other functions

No carnet menu. Just Android Auto and Medialink
