Can I simply add a sub to my OEM setup

Been out in the van all day and to my ears the standard speakers/tweeters are ok. But I would really enjoy some waft, a bit of depth if you get my drift. And to that end dear readers I have some questions.

A. could I simply get a sub wired in.
B. or would I need an amp and a sub unless you can get them combined.
C. does the standard headset in the T6.1 have an output for an amp/sub.

I can’t answer the sub question but I fitted the Gladen T6 kit to mine and I don’t feel the need for a sub and amp, with a bit of tweaking of the Bass, Mids and Treble settings on factory head unit. That’s with fully soundproofed doors, which really does make a difference too.

I thought the standard speakers were decent too, until I fitted the Gladen’s

Nearly all amps these days take direct speaker level in, so no need for cheap LOC adapters

Ideally a amp that has a level control plus a sub/enclosure is all that’s needed , or multi channel amp to power some nice speakers as well
