Camping Trailer

Hi All,

Does anyone tow an Erde camping trailer behind their T6? Once our clutch is done we are off on the NC 500 (over Easter). We are looking at second hand Erde 122, 142 AND 163 versions with lockable top box and bike rack. Will fit a spare tyre etc. It will also need to be towable over to Europe and Switzerland in the Summer.

Can anyone put pictures up? I'm not interested in the really cool half a van trailers sorry. Just the small camping ones.

Camping Trailers - Let's see em ;)

Thinking about getting a camping trailer (probably a fairly big one) to store awnings, boats, kayaks etc. Quite like the look of the Debon ones, but looking for recommendations (and pictures!) Thanks

Debon C255. Really good trailer. I had a Bateson 120V prior to to this and that was ok but a bit thin

Anssems trailer…..


we used to put the bikes on top and mount the solar panels on the back end….but we’ve just brought the basket/cage for the top and moved the bike carrier on to the A frame …then suspend the solar panels using a new C rail….it’s all Thule stuff that is easy to attach to the rails…


it’s not a cheap setup….but Then owning a van it’s either….Hope it gives you ideas

What ever you buy…make sure it can be adapted to your needs and any future needs……

• Internal switched lights

It would be absolutely superb for your NC500 trip - I just haven't got round to putting the ad up yet.

In my pre T6.1 days we towed an Anssems, fabulous quality trailer, very similar to @VanDamMan 's but with extreme dwarfism.
Sold to one of our members on here, for a very reasonable price!
