Any vans currently running 20" Calibre CCU's?

Currently got Davenport's but in a dilemma whether to make the change to 20's.

Any pics or views will be fab.

@marmite monster did have an advert for his wheels so there will be photos of them fitted somewhere.

The Calibres are 9 ins wide with an offset of 45. But when I rang my local garage who I have used for all my tyres, he says the 275 tyre is a big tyre and they would normally go 275/40/20 and wouldn't recommend the 275/35/20. I explained that VW recommend this tyre size. They also said that are 245 or 255 wide options too.

So, before I get these Calibres. What is the right one. I have a T30 Highline with axle weights of 1610 on front and 1600 on rear and have Davenport's with 255/55/17 tyres. Lowered approx 40mm on coilovers.

I also watched the video from Transporter HQ on YouTube and they out 265/40/20's
To say I'm confused is an understatement.

I've read loads of threads but none the wiser. I know I need a load rated tyre and do not want any rubbing issues.

Please help o_O

I’d listen to the likes of Bognor motors, they recommend 275/35/20 or 265/40/20 if you have a t32, or if your going to be running low low then transporter hq recommend 255/35/20. The reason tyre fitters fit 275/40/20 is because they are a common size, easy to get hold of. but as you’ll see from many post on here they catch when lowered. And they look like balloons.

Thanks for the reply. It's soooo confusing. It blows my mind.

Hi I’m on the same wheels and also running 255 /35/20’s. I fit 20mm spacers to the rear to widen the rear stance. Never caught the arches yet and it’s quite low.
I recently did nearly 700m round trip to pembrey from darlington with my scooter rack on the back with no clearance issues.
I hope this helps.

I have just fitted my calibre CC-U 20" 9j ET45 with 255/40/20 tyres but feel they don't fill the Arches enough.
Can anyone recommend a decent spacer size or setup for the above please?

Looking at a new set of wheels for my t28 t6 panel van.....

Currently running calibre CC-U so 8.5j all round with 255/40/20 tyres but the set I have seen are 9j ET35 so I would either keep same tyres or drop down to 245/40/20. Would this cause any rubbing issues or will I need to modify the arch liners etc?
I'm also on kw StX coilovers wound all the way down with modified front top mounts.

Any help or advice is appreciated!

Put the current and proposed sizes into something like willtheyfit.com, then get out your tape measure and see what the difference will look like on your van.

I ran 9in et42 but with 265/40/20 and would get very occasional liner rub. I would say with the 255 you probably would as well.
