Well, it’s a sad day today, said a final fairwell to the Tiguan 240 R-Line.
I’ve no regrets about getting the T6, but I really am going to miss the Tiguan.
I drove it today for the first time in about 3 weeks, and although the T6 is a 204, it’s obviously a completely different animal to the Tig, I’d forgotten how quick and agile the 240 is.

Ah well.....Good things come to an end....are you replacing it......May be buying a Porsche perhaps..Growing trend on this forum:whistle:

I'm going to put a deposit down on the new Tiguan R as soon as it's possible.

Tiguan's tick all the boxes for my wife and a bit of fun when I get a chance to drive it too.

Always hated Porsche’s, probably great to drive but I hate the Beetle-esque body shape. Only one I can remotely bear is the 944.
I’d love to keep the Tiguan, but if I had, either that or the T6 would just be parked up most of the time.

New to T6's, having just sold my T5 California, The wife has a 240 Tiggy which i like to drive now and again, the 2.0 engine is a bit wheezy but its a sure footed enough to drive. I've got a 911 tucked up in the garage which comes out every now and again, mainly track days,

@Ali-G sad for you mate. My Q5 goes back in March, love the technology in it. The virtual dash is by far the best addition I have opted to add in all my cars. Will miss it but the van makes me smile anytime I walk past it so not all bad. Plus the van is mine  ;) :sneaky:

We had a top spec Tiguan a couple years ago. Great cars, packed with spec and still look great on the road!

Funny that! A Tiguan never registered on our radar? Reading all this grieving, I’m now wondering what we missed? Should this be shortlisted for our next family run-around?
