Brake Screech

Hi All,
Have a kombi with 2000 miles on it. When bought it had some brembo big brake upgrade on it. The brakes work fine and and not worn down significantly but when coming to a stop, I can hear a screech/grinding noise just before I stop. Place I bought it from recommended a bedding in procedure of stop/starting 10 times in quick succession on a quiet road and I've done this twice but still get the noise. Any ideas what it may be and what I can do to rectify it please?
TIA.

Have they gone rusty at all, just wondering? years ago Brembo bike brakes used to rust up, at the time they where some of the best brakes and nearly all Italian machines rusted up if not driven enough. Do not think that it affected efficiency though and a few dabs would usually clear it all away anyway. On the few occasions where I have suffered brake squeal reverse braking has usually cured it. the stone or what ever just came out. Perhaps it could be some other contamination presuming they are not run down that is.

Thank you. Seems to have quietened down on its own and only there very intermittently now without me changing anything. Will watch and wait. Plenty of wear still left in them.

Shouldn't be using copper slip anymore. Ceramic grease is what should be used ;)
I proper moly brake paste.

Copper slip can occasionally rot the rubber used on piston seals or guide pin covers.

Indeed, a non metallic compound which is what's needed. Moly do a ceramic grease for brakes too, wonder what the difference is?
