Has anyone kept their old bottom door roller thingy,
I have managed to repair mine with a new roller. Also, it will make it much easier to change the roller next time it fails
Much better than the cheap copies you can get!
I just got replacement rollers from my local store and machined them to the correct dimension, had to make a sleeve for the inner bearing as it is slightly bigger than the factory maybe last longer. Then drilled and tapped the pin that it goes on, put some thread sealer on a stainless bolt and hopefully it should be ok. When it goes again it should be an easy swap.
So I was wondering if I could repair yours depending on how bad it is.
only for what it cost me in parts and time about an hour.
this is mine repaired
