CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
During these tough and testing times, Bognor Motors will be operating a ZERO-CONTACT POLICY . We are taking this pandemic very seriously and we hope you are too?
We will operating a priority booking service, where possible, for NHS staff, emergency service staff and other key workers.
Until told otherwise, we are very much open for work, with all of our staff operating a safe, 2 metre apart, working relationship with each other and with regular hand cleaning and anti-bacterial wiping of the business area, throughout the day. Our staff are happy to continue providing a service during this unsettling time, and our no.1 priority is their health and wellbeing, as well as yours.
The only people allowed within the building will be our staff.
Collection and Delivery for Isolation Customers
No Need to leave the house
Free of Charge Collection and Delivery for servicing, repairs and MOT’s for anyone who is either in the “At risk category,” and / or in self isolation. We will call when we arrive at your home, so you can leave your key for us. Using anti-bac wipes we will clean door handles, steering wheel, handbrake, gear lever, bonnet lever, window switches, indicator/wiper stalks and the key. We will then plastic wrap the steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake - this will stay wrapped until the vehicle is delivered back. Although all of our mechanics wear rubber gloves currently - clean gloves will be worn for every new job/vehicle and when we return your vehicle, we will then repeat the process with the antibacterial wipe, remove the plastic protection and return your key. All will communicate with you through the day and take payment over the phone.
ZERO CONTACT drop-off / Collection
To help with Social Distancing
We have a key drop box on the right-hand side of our reception door. If you call us when you are outside, so we can discuss your booking or vehicle return/collection with you without entering the office, then you may post the keys and leave. We will carry out our sanitising procedures ( see above and our website for further full details) and conduct all communication, authorisation and payment over the phone. When you come to collect your vehicle please call us and we will come outside, and at a safe distance, give you the keys.
All rental customers will be handled on the same basis as above - we just ask that your send through all required documents via email, prior to collection.
We are here to help if you need us and are happy to discuss any of the above with you, so please do not hesitate to call us. There will also be a note on the door explain this.
