Bodywork preservation

I have a 2016 T6 camper conversion that I’ve owned from new and is on about 35,000 miles.
I plan to keep it for many years yet and keep on top of the mechanical side.
Having just spent a chilly morning washing road salt off it, I’m wondering if there is anything I should consider to keep the bodywork in good condition. Any advice on waxoyling or under sealing or anything?
Thanks

I think you can do a little or a lot to preserve it but anything better than doing nothing.

Topside - just use a polish/wax like autoglym super resin 2 or 3 times a year which helps when cleaning it. Touch up any stone chips to seal them and prevent rust starting.

Underneath, I recommend pressure washing under the arches and also going around the arch edges with your fingers (gloved) and the hose to wash out any trapped crud.

On my 2018 van I plan to remove the wheel arch liners and clean then apply some new wax (Bilt Hamber) in a couple of years time. I did this on my 2003 car and removed about 3kg of crud - this traps moisture against the underbody, often laden with salt, and is often the cause of rust. Re-apply wax to the floor seams / box sections (Bilt cavity wax usually comes with a long cavity spray tube)
