Sat here typing on the forum when i hear smoke alarms beeping and a knock on the door, its the lady next door telling me her house in on fire (well the cooker) and her kid is upstairs asleep so i just had to do a bit of wet towels and water throwing until the fire brigade turned up, got the old heart pumping a bit for 5 minutes.
Turned out to be not to bad got it out before they arrived and the kids were fine, damage was reasonably minor but the house smells a bit funny and i found out if you go near a glass oven door thats on fire with a wet towel it will literally explode across the room and the person stood in front of it but TBH made me feel good inside knowing i had helped someone out of a fix
