Best roads to use when travelling to Bridport, Dorset

Hi Guys

We are off to Bingham Grange, near Bridport, Dorset a week Sunday and I was wondering if any of you lovely peeps could advise the best way to go, and any places we could take comfort stops that would be good for a Labrador to stretch her legs.
We are travelling from the West Norfolk and sat nav is showing M25, A303 or M5.

Best to avoid M3 M27 A31 A35 at all costs

A303 can be a dog during peak times i generally avoid it and go M5/M4 to exit westcountry in any north or london bound direction
