BEST PLACE TO WIRE EXTRA USB FOR THE KIDS TOO ???

I used piggyback fuses in spare slots in the fuse box below the gear stick. I had quite a lot of empty slots with a live fuse connector one side and nothing the other side. Make sure you select one that is a switched live as USBs tend to draw a small constant current.
Alternative is to get the right connectors and strip out the dash to get behind the fuse box and insert the connector into the spare empty slots.
If you have a leisure battery, run them from that, if not piggy back off main fuse panel as already suggested. I find having them on the B pillars is more convenient, easy to do as well. Pictures of them installed in this post:

Quite nice to have the option to turn off.
Here’s you go. Lots of other sellers and similar items on eBay too. It was the ability to turn them off that I quite looked as well.
