Battery Cover

The reason I have two is becuase one of the covers didnt fit with the T5 engine cover(which I still have wrapped in box)
So spoke to Bawny and they sent me the other variant.

Well it looks to me as though a little modification would not go amiss, I'm sure all it need is trimming a little.

The light curve can be trimmed to suit the T6 light, I guess?.

Thats the one i have just had delivered today, looks like a good enough fit to me but i see what you mean about where it meets the headlight
This is the only one i can find available to order on VWs system and its listed as a T5 unit (not T5.1) so not sure what other one you have, do you have a pic or part number of the alternate unit ?

Just had a quick look on *bay and there are 2 on there for less than 25.

Removed the part number picture as its for the one that doesnt fit
Does your right screw (near wing) go into anything, mine just goes into a littlespace but has nothing to secure too

No problem on the number image.

There was nothing in mine but obtaining a plastic Nut to secure said screw..

Hey guys, did you have to modify the cover in any other way other than get a plastic nut? I'm interested in getting one for my new t6 and getting that and the engine cover dipped. Your thoughts appreciated.

The curved edge profile that meets the wing has a slightly different radius so don't line up properly with the T6 wing you could either live with it or cut it off ??

Thanks Pauly just wanted to double check. Think we may have spoken last week on this via the online shop query I posted. Frustrating that VW are not making one.....
