Battery constantly receiving 14.8v charge

Still can't come to a conclusion. Could my alternator be faulty??? 2015 T6 Bluemotion 102. Still banging out 14.8v no drop or rise after a 40 min drive. Had it sitting on the driveway running for 10 mins too. Looks like it has the extra parts that would accompany a Smart alternator on the negative.
Have the Renogy DC-DC 30amp charger with the extra ignition lead connected, do I need to disconnect it???

Or could it be the battery on its way out?

That is an OEM battery so could be the factory original and that it's End of Life.

On average a battery will last 4-6 years before degrading.

FYI, you have a smart alternator.

That was my later thought, the alternator is trying to charge the knackered battery hence the constant 14.8v. Tbh the van sits mostly on the driveway since I've owned it from June. I'll put it on charge over night and do a battery test on it. If its knackered I'll be letting it go flat. I'll use my parts and labour cover via AA
