Barn doors locking issue

Hi all - new to forum.

Had my T6 (2018 T28 LWB) for 9 months or so. It had a full service at VW commercial garage in January and ever since then, the rear barn doors won't open from the outside. They only open from the inside which is a real pain. No problems before service. I've tried diff taps of key fob, the key in lock manually, google, looked on this forum and can't find a solution. Not sure if it's an electronics issue when they updated stuff at service.

Has anyone here ever come across this? Do I need to take it back to VW to possibly look at the issue / replace locking mechanism?

Mine is sometimes a bit weird
If we push the handle on the side closest to the door, ie the opposite side to the one you press to open it, then press the side nearest you (as if to unlock it normally) it always works.

Mine sometimes does it, I unlock it then by pushing ( don't pull as that seems to make it harder to unlock) on the handle whilst pressing the fob button and it has always worked then. Give it a try, nothing to lose! I think that it is just a very slight misalignment in my case.
