B14 shock bump stop & dust cover?

Hi all,

Newbie to the T6 forum.

I think I know what the consensus will be but I thought I’d ask opinion anyway….

I just had a dedicated Transporter / custom garage fit some B14 coilovers up front (I managed to do the rear on the drive, but I gave up on the front after swearing for approx 2hrs..)

Anyway, they’ve fitted the struts and done my alignment, but on closer inspection they haven’t reused the bump stops and dust cover gators from my standard shocks!

I’ve always reused these items when changing suspension on previous cars, so am I right to assume they should have when I follow up with them on Tuesday. I assumed this would be obvious, but then that got me wondering that with them being a specific Transporter garage and due to reletively short shaft stroke does it warrant it..?

Thanks

Yes they clearly don’t know the correct procedure. The bump stops and dust covers have to be fitted
looking at the picture with the bump stops fitted the suspension will be close to bottomed out ! How low have you set the height
