AXLE STANDS FOR A CLASSIC.

Hi all
Bought a lovely 78 T2 for me and the mrs to Work on.
Was lucky enough to live in a house with an inspection pit when I cut my teeth on classics,
What are people, using these days for lifting and securing classic vans (or modern ones....)

I’ve got a couple of sets of 6 tonne stands from SGS Engineering for my air-cooled fleet.
They also do trolley jacks, etc.

Just bought some! look really good thanks for the tip. Once had an axle stand drop when I wasn't under the van - put me off for a while.

I have the 4 tonne stands from SGS. And their 3 tonne trolley jack. Gets my vote.

I've gone for a set of 6 tonne beasts

I like to drive the front up ramps then jack up the rear and place it on 4 ramps - loads of height and it’s defo staying where it is!
