Can anyone advise me on where to get the awning track fitted on a pop top van, the awning I like is the van go Byron type, also where’s best to get these type of awning and if there’s a better option, ideally I’d like the one that can stay in place and still allows me to move the van . Thanks in advance

Hi I see you are in the West Midlands good camping and caravan shop in Cannock and Coventry they have a few different awnings all set up worth a trip this way you really get a feel for size shape ect
My advice is to go for a air type
And you will need a drive away awning kit if your planning on driving away and leaving the awning standing
One thing to remember is that most of the awnings kits are in three pieces easy to pack
Only challenge is that this can cause a drip right over your sliding door
I found the best is to buy a one piece rail drive away type this way it’s solid all the way only thing is we’re you put the rail when not in use ?
The other thing is that myself for single stop nights I just throw up a canopy easy and quick, it can be set in different formats to aid what you want. Less room in the van and a third of the price ?
Happy to help with any questions.

Alright guys.

Looking at fitting a fiamma awning on to my LWB T6, but I don't know what size to get??

Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Would depend really on how many people are traveling with you and if anyone will use it to sleep in? Plus if you are going to drive around during the day and wish to leave the awning in place. I have an inflatable drive away awning. Unfortunately I hardly ever use it as the whole thing takes up so much storage space. Seriously it's huge packed up.

No, just want a wind out awning fitted for trips away, somewhere sheltered outdoors at night to enjoy the outdoors before bed I guess haha. I literally live in the van, so just need a wind out awning, just don't know what size for a LWB
