Awning / Tent Suggestions (t6 Swb Reimo Rail)

Hi all,
I see this has been asked many times, but I thought I would ask :)
I have a T6 swb ighline with a passengar single sliding door that has a reimo awning rail on the same side. It also has a SCA pop top.
We have two small kids (4 & 6) and will need the extra outside space during the day, so we are looking for something that gives standing up space and maybe some sleeping space. However like most we don't want it to take up too much wait/space and I'm looking to spent 400-500 pounds.

Questions I have are..
  • on some of the hard standing pitches they are gravel so what do people use under the groundsheet to protect it ?
  • On some of these tent/awnings they have sides that are tight to the van, do they mark the van ? (being slightly precious I know)
  • what type of connection do I need to the reimo rail ?
  • How easy is it to drive away and come back and hook it up is it a PITA ? or a case of practice makes....
  • What other considerations should I take into account ?
  • What are most camp sites like with these awnings ? (I guess its a case of check when booking)
  • What makes and models of tent/awning do people use ?
What I've googled so far is
strikes me as cool, but a bit small for us 4
seems like a good option
another reasonable option, info is a little sparse, not found a UK site with info. second one is almost twice the price but only slightly bigger
again another one.
All help and advice gratefully received.

@Nigel W as he says have a look at the pics.
As usual - pros and cons.
Re: gravel standing - we use a hard wearing groundsheet first.
Our Movelite 2 has a footprint -(extra expense!) and its own sewn in ground sheet - so plenty
of ground protection.
