My van has OEM roof rails already, does that mean I can only put a certain type of rail on it, if I went Fiamma wind out awning how would that fit onAre you going to mount it in one of the channels in the roof. If so, ask yourself if you are going to fit roof rails at some point.
Some awning rails prevent you from using the OEM roof rails that also mount into this channel. Other awning rails (generally more expensive) slot into this channel, but still allow roof rails to go into the channel too.

Something like this maybe worth a lookjumping on the thread how does a rail sail work? I too have roof bars but stumped as to what to do for a sun canopy or tent
Yep they all do the same thing. There is a gutter to channel the rain and there is a slot to slide in the figure of 8 or kador strip for the awning.I’m guessing all these different makes of rail essentially do the same thing? Why a Reimo guys? Bristol camper company are saying there rail has metal ends that won’t perish and go discoloured over time like the Reimo.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thats what he means, Reimo ends are rubber and sales guy is implying they will perish.I have the Reimo multirail on my van and there are no metal ends to perish? Not sure where that Congress from but that sounds like a desperate sales guy lying to you... Beware the BS
Thanks guys i have a sliding door each side so was thinking Fiamma 45s one side awning rail on the other.
