For awning channel to awning you'll generally want a kador strip and figure 8 strip something like thisAlso, I have a Reimo rail on the van, what drive away attachment do I need?
I think the Pro has thicker fabric, larger airbeams, and more substantial guy ropes. Also has side door opposite tunnel and zip up curtains opposed to toggle. We've the Pro and very pleased.I have 2 dogs so need space.
I can’t quite figure out what the difference is between the Gallli 3 and the Pro?

HI, looking at purchasing one of these for weekend stays. (quick and easy is our goal with 2 young kids ;-) ) I have a vango driveaway for longer stays. Would you advise the Cayman is good piece of kit? taStill not completely happy with my awning game.
Have outdoor revolution cayman canopy with the front and sides which works great down the beach and for the odd night or 2 for a bit of extra shelter.
It's actually really solid when everything is buttoned down but does take about 20-30 mins to put up.

We got a Loopo Breeze® Inflatable Campervan Awning - Blue & Grey with the van I think but I've not even got it out the bag as it's so big and heavy I know it will lead to a divorce. Will be sold before summer for a much smaller model, might get a new awning too.
@Milky12345 I love the setup. Super flexible to work for beach, campsite etc.HI, looking at purchasing one of these for weekend stays. (quick and easy is our goal with 2 young kids ;-) ) I have a vango driveaway for longer stays. Would you advise the Cayman is good piece of kit? ta
Thanks for the reply. I’d defo be getting the full sides and front to shut it off over night. Thanks for the reply.@Milky12345 I love the setup. Super flexible to work for beach, campsite etc.
Like everything it gets better the more you add to it in terms of adding the sides and front to make it more stable and secure.
I've just got an Outdoor touring shelter 2nd hand off here which I actually now use for a quick bit of shade at the beach as it's quicker to put up and gives a little more stability within 10 mins but doesn't have a front so wouldn't use on a campsite for more than a night kind of thing.
But in terms of product quality I'd rate both.
Update. Bought Debus canopy. Wasn’t impressed. Very cheap zips and the leg kept bending in wind.
I just bought a Debus![]()
We had the vango air sun canopy (with sides) but didn’t get on with it, much more of a faff and limited setup possibilities (one). We have this one and just sitting out now having a beer under it we agree it’s still the best thing we bought for camping in the van. Used it loads over 4 years. Goes up easy, used all year round more as a rain porch then a sun canopy. Flexible in setup, can pitch it with no poles and so it give protection in a storm or with poles in the middle or 1,2,3 poles on the end. The downsides are; it’s getting a bit sun bleached, the underside is still a good orange colour whereas the top is going a little peachy, after a few heavy downpours while setup badly and water pooled it’s got a bit baggy just by the rear of the van. Finally I’ve noticed the loop the guys pull through has started to wear meaning the rope doesn’t pull smoothly through the hoop when tensioning the guys. We are now in discussion as to whether we should order a new one or get the big stitches and steel one which she saw last time we camped.what wheels have you got there @step?As mentioned each to own with what people like and don't. So many options out there for that very reason. View attachment 288153We've got the Debus air canopy and can't fault it. Will be using it this weekend. Great for what it is![]()

Adding our latest purchase, a proper little porch canopy for weekends and overnighters. Cheap and simple but does the job (keeps the rain out when opening the door and allows us to have the door “to” overnight)
