Awning attachment height

Hi all,

I'm in the process of trying to find an awning.

Probably a Vango Air Galli III or a Kampa Air Touring.

Struggling to find either in the VW/Low configuration.

There are some in the standard height.

For example the Kampa VW is recommended for van heights 180 to 210cm whereas the standard is 205 to 235cm.

My van is standard height so a little under 200cm with a C rail in the roof gutter.

Question is whether the standard height awning would work reasonably well? What are the problems likely to be encountered?

Any advice much appreciated as never used an awning before.

Thanks
Steve

You can get away with it just be more material around the attaching bit can take it out a bit by moving awning out a bit

Ok thanks. Sounds like no major show stoppers. I might go for the standard version then as anything low/VW is out of stock.
