Auto Headlight Sensor wiring

So, it seems I have another issue to log against my 3rd party conversion (definatly doing th enext one myself!)
It seems that they disconnected the headlight and rain sensor. VW want £100 to connect it back up. I said I would do it myself. Anyone got any experience of where it may be unplugged or any other useful tips?

The sensors for both those are in the rear view mirror housing. I think the plug is behind the centre console in the roof headlining. They probably forgot to re connect it.
