Anyone have a 2” receiver hitch on their T6?

I have a receiver type in Australia too. The ball is 470mm off the ground . Ideal for swing away bike racks and towing.
The receiver is rated at 3 ton but of course my Van towing capacity is only 2.2 ton so no problem if I keep under that.
The tongue part is removable and the silver flap blanks it off.View attachment 275508

I completely missed this one! That’s what I’m after! Please can you take a pic from directly behind, at hitch level, when you have a chance. No rush. And assume the make is “all in”?

I have a standard towbar, I butchered a quick release bicycle rack and connected it to a cargo cage for extra storage. Quick cam lever action - pull up bar and lift unit free from ball socket.

Hi @Village here are some pictures of my towing hitch. It's a 2 inch square receiver and the tongue and ball can be removed and i can close the silver flap to keep dirt etc out .The ball and hitch are rated at 3 ton towing but my van is only 2.2 ton so a margin of error. I fit my bike rack as well as towing my trailer with it.
I'm afraid it all looks a bit dirty as I have been out on dusty roads.

I reached out to PF Jones about this hitch as looking for one for the van - have a Thule bike rack from the US as prefer the way they hold the bike.

They told me that Westfalia are currently going through the process of being bought out, so they have no idea when stock will start reappearing.

I did get in contact with westfalia they said that they are no longer making this tow bar

Hey all,

I’ve been looking at 2" receiver hitches for taking my motorcycle on the camper. The Westfalia one I found is only 160 kg tongue weight, but I need at least 170 kg to be safe — does anyone know of a stronger option?
