Anyone had this before? Seems odd. All the panels look evenly spaced. 2017 shuttle 25k miles. 1A56AB3D-8DBE-40E5-A37D-D6FA065383BC.jpeg1A56AB3D-8DBE-40E5-A37D-D6FA065383BC.jpegB609E4EF-F91F-4659-8DA1-B3EA104A3973.jpegB609E4EF-F91F-4659-8DA1-B3EA104A3973.jpeg

Sure it’s the door looks more like when people drag over the seal getting out

I did think it was some lazy oaf dragging themselves in and out but you can see on the door card that it’s touching it as it closes causing the damage.

Might be worn trim clips and the panel not fitting right

Can you show us a photo of the door card and its positioning ?

Pete

3rd pic down it looks like the door seal is not pushed on fully. And that's probably causing it to hit the door card.
In that same pic you can see on the drivers side how small the gap is between the door card and the B-Pillar trim.
Your B-Pillar trim looks like it's not on properly. Try removing it, push the seal in properly and see if the door card still catches the seal. Then when you know that's OK try refitting the B-Pillar trim.

got a few more pics of the door almost closed as it gets near the seal?

Ok so I need to admit I didn’t hit it hard enough and it seems to have popped in another 5mm so I think it’s ok. Door card is correctly seated and b piller looks ok too. Can anyone recommend a place to get the door seal? Thanks for pointing out the bloody obvious.

So instead of looking at where it was rubbing what I should of been looking at is all the rust in the door seals. ( I know it’s the steel reinforcement) what a load of bollocks that is!!!! Both drivers and sliders. It was t great on the 5 and 5.1 but Jesus. Anyone tried the eBay ones or have a link to instructions or is it possible to slip them in without undoing stuff.
