Hey !

I was fishing on my van to find from where my problems come and I am exploring the electronics option.
(To make it short, gad a p0191 fuel rail pressure sensor and a p226d for a while, got the sensor replaced it corrected everything for 6 month)

I know that the previous owner did put a chip that he told me he removed.

I have found a box that is not very neatly attached it makes me wonder if it's original. It goes to 2 cables that are split A and B. Here are some pictures attached.
Any idea if it's original ? I find it suspicious

Apparently it seems to be a blind connector for a chip. I guess there was a chip there and he just removed it without removing the cable loom. I wonder if I should go to a garage so they put the original wiring

Definitely not from the factory.

Definitely not original. Little bit of googling suggests it might be a RaceChip blind - that is, plug that does nothing. Allows to remove chip without removing wiring.

Does not look German to me

I removed it we'll see if it solves my problem like p0191. It could very well be the case, we'll see. I did a small drive and for now I have nothing intermittent
