6FD63674-C3EF-4168-8B35-AD2EA85D51AE.jpeg hey guys I’ve bought some fake glass for the rear quarters on my kombi, now the factory kombi side glass comes with a trim on the back edge, and camper glass sell a trim that fits to the front of the new fake glass, do I use 1 or the other? Or both? Really confused
So any caravelle guys can you take a pic of your glass on the sides please... or if any kombi guys have fitted this can you post a pic, I don’t really want to see paint between the glass so not sure what to do!

Is this what you were looking for @Olly hall .
As you see in the pictures, mine is showing a 10mm gap. It looks like it could go tighter to the door glass but not a lot as it would clash.
Don't know if a thin black strip could be stuck onto the c pillar to give the illusion of fully glazed throughout the length

Hmmm not sure really was hoping to not seen any paint, might get my sign writer to put a thin strip of black down the edge before the window goes on

I got a kombi lwb twin slider with said factory trimming onyx white . Was concerned with seeing white between windows when had rears fitted so had the pillar painted black to keep that continuous black flow. To date have had three window installs and never fitted the additional trim to rear quarter

Yours looks very close @Twenty Four
There is no gap, the colour difference you see is just the edge of the glass. One thing to note and I'm not sure why or if there's a difference, is that mine is SWB and the others on this thread are LWB. That said, I'm sure my T5.1 LWB had no gap too. Also the model is a Shuttle SE if there's anything in that.
