Alternator issues / power output / flickering lights

Have recently noticed after upgrading my headlights to LED that when the engine is on tick over I get a lot of flickering on them, when the engine revs rise they stop.
So tonight I was going to swap out the LEDs but for standard bulbs, whilst I was turning the van around I noticed that as the revs drop all the lights dimmed badly, and the blower motor slowed down.
As I revved the engine up to 2500 (limiter) as I let off stationary there was a noticeable clicking sound as the revs started to drop and again so did the lights.

Did a VCDS scan and monitored the voltage and battery stats.
Whilst Idling, the battery voltage was sitting at 14.5v, and when I raised the revs it went to a max of 14.7 this was not long after starting. I have stop / start on my van, and this has always shown an error and never worked. But doesn’t come up with a fault code.
Alternator watts goes up as I increase the loads,
Anyone else seen anything similar?

After pulling the alternator out tonight it seems my concerns of the alternator was at fault. The freewheeling pulley has given up meaning it now will freewheel in both directions and engage with the alternator.

The pulley is replaceable at very low cost, cheap special puller required.
I was looking at mine through the wheel arch and under the van, I think it’s possible to replace without removing the alternator.
Perhaps someone can confirm?
