following on from a thread earlier,I have made the decision on a set of 18 inch alloys, just after a few suggestions on quality reputable styles that aren’t to fussy and along the lines of the vw Springfield(but without that price tag

VW Amarok 18 Manaus

there is usually loads on ebay or similar with delivery milage only
You will need to change the tyres (Amarok tyres are too large in terms of rolling radius)
Get them re-powder coated, lots of finished to choose from. Anthracite/Gun metal Grey/BMW Ferric Grey/Bronze/Shadow Chrome can all look great
Fit some 235/55/18 tyres (slightly over sized) All-season tyres are the way to go imo.
Also some TUV approved Hub-centric 15mm, spacers on all 4 corners

Perfect

Look at the ABT web site, some lovely designs and mainly
simple and not over the top.
I’ve got em on my T6 and look amazing

The land rover/range rover "Satin Dark Grey" is a beautiful colour for alloy wheels imo (if you are considering re-coating), its a dull Anthracite Colour. Lovely :inlove:

You’ve got to at least consider Rota Grids. Bought a set as winters but had no need to put them on this winter past

Clean and simple

Isn't it nice that a question that gets asked hundreds of times a year, often by new members, and would normally get directed to previous long standing threads, quite rightly in normal circumstances. Yet those above have decided not to do that this time and rather to engage in a new dedicated thread just for the OP. Maybe this is a glimpse of the future in a post pandemic world, or maybe i'm just getting overly sentimental being stuck indoors for so long. Either way it's refreshing chaps.

I'm throwing my tuppence worth of spanner in the works and going with a nice none banded 18" Amarok steel as a suggestion. Ok, not an alloy, but also not overly fussy, cheap, and with a subtle lowering, a nice tyres and a set of spacers, this can be the result.

The first T6 I saw on bigger steel wheels back in 2017, and thought it looked one of the nicest subtle styles i'd seen at the time. They are not an easy wheel to find and often sell out when they are stocked by companies like Tamar, but for around £400 they are a bargain for such a bold statement in my opinion.

Yes, we all need to consider Practicing Kindness during these troubled times
