Airbag removal

hi.

Having trouble removing mine. The YouTube videos all say to put a screw driver in and twist but that's on a T5. Mine won't budge. Anyone onlin offer any advice?

I have removed mine a couple of times. I use a small short screwdriver, its a bit fiddly but you need to un-clip the one side then turn the wheel round and pop the other clip, should just GENTLY pull out . The clip seems to be near the top edge of the hole. Its a bit hard to explain as its just one of them jobs you have to mess at...then waik away and have another got later

Another question. The facia and multi function bits. What holds them on? Trying to put them on my referbished wheel with little success.

Yay. Sussed it. Read @RattyMcClelland post. Answer was to give it a good yank. Steering whee now sorted. Thanks

Sorry all for the quick fire questions. Had the steering wheel off and needed to get it sorted for work tomorrow.

Anyway. The results look pretty good to me. Jack from Royal Steering Wheels refurbished wheel for £150. Can't fault it. Chunky, soft nappa leather, flat bottomed & silver stitching.

@Andrew that's a quality recovering job with very attractive stitching . Worth every penny to get such a top quality mod that will make you smile every time that you drive your van .
