Air Suspension for my 4Mo?

Looks amazing :somersault:, I love air ride but can't justify it to myself so I will eventually get round to fitting my B14's that i took off my old one.

@Walski , loving the stance and the ability to go higher if you wish. What's the ride like? Is it any good round the bends?

Thanks @DaveBos and others for comments. Rides really good, drove back about 60 miles from StancedUK, takes all the pitch and wallow out the corners and is smooth enough over the bumps. It's definately stiffer and bumpier than standard but not so that is feels comfortable. No need to dodge bumps either as it soaks them up well even when driving low.... Very different to my teenage years driving slammed beetles and pothole dodging!!!!!

@Walski , looks super cool, super low on super wheel porn mate.
Long wait for you, but just of those pics alone...... definately worth it:thumbsup:

@Walski I have had to restrict forum videos to smallish size, our server disk space is growing rapidly and every upgrade means higher monthly hosting fees etc trying to keep it manageable, embedded video links are fine if you wish to post to youtube first and link here but as a VIP member you have larger media gallery space and videos are allowed there but ssshhh dont tell everyone

With air suspension, can you raise 3 wheels to change a flat on the fourth without using a jack?

Love the idea of air ride but every video I've seen it sounds like they are sat in Quick fit with the conpressors filling up just wondering how much of a difference the silencers make

Definately can't do that with mine..... does come in handy for lots of things but changing a tyre ain't one!!! Think you need hydraulics for that??

I've got a silencer on my compressor... still noisey if I'm honest so not sure how much difference they make.

Hi all.
I have run VW Transporters from T4 to my new T6. The T5.2 and T6 4 Motion DSG models have both been fitted with VB AIR all round. To say one thing my vans are always well over weight all the time. my last van weighed 3.9 Tons all its life over 4 years and 140.000 miles, We have never had any problems with the VB system fitted even at this weight. it makes the van appear unloaded to other people, and makes a massive difference to the drive of the vehicle loaded. Let me just say my new 204 BITDI DSG 4 MOTION has been fitted with the latest VB AIR system with air tank and is now 3.6 ton in weight now drives and feels better than the day i picked up from the dealer unloaded. I know that people will never test these vans to my extremes. But all i can say that the air system can cope with these big loads. Pity regard engine on t5,2 2.0 180 BITDI. Not a patch on the T5 2.5 5 cylinder TDI, and sure the new 204 BITDI will never match that old T5 work horse in any area. Thats all about emissions how sad.But i will say one thing the new 204 BITDI engine regardless of the weight is defo a massive improvement on the the underpowered 180 BITDI, Even though add blue fitted. DPF was never the best anyway including the engine.
My VB AIR Dealer has always been MICK,FULL VB AIR DEALER, S.A.P DONCASTER DH6 7BD. TEL 01302 215296.
All I can say is great service and the best advice regards all.

Hi back @Aaron Simmons and welcome to the Forum :) where you will find a bunch of great people with a wealth of expertise and knowledge that they will impart if asked, although it sounds as though you are well versed in VW Transporters. With your experience of VB AIR you may wish to place their details and your recommendation in the Discussion area General chat - Recommend A Business.
