Aili battery monitor

Just a quick one is the aili battery monitor monitor illuminated all the time .I'm wondering where to mount it and if it's going to give off a glow it's going behind a door.

It's just
that unwanted light source at night could be a problem if any of you guys have one please do they emit light all the time or only when a button is pressed .

Not heard of this one so did a Google- looks interesting.

One source suggests it only lights up when charging/discharging. Another suggests that later models can have the light disabled.

Thanks so much for taking the time Pete I wasn't originally intending to put any battery monitor in .was just going to rely on everything working as it should and hope for the best but then I joined this forum.!!!!!

We have managed 4 years camping without a proper battery monitor, just a voltmeter.
You don’t have to have one !
