Agm Battery Voltage

Hey guys

After a 150 mile drive I left the engine off for an hour and measured the battery voltage. My 12v AGM battery (start-stop) is showing a voltage of 10.8 with the headlights on. A 12v battery is actually 12.6v if I am right (6 cells @ 2.1v). VW warranty is 3 years on batteries so should I look at getting this chcked by them?

Thanks

Is it a Moll battery ? There is a known problem with these.
If it is a Moll, then do a Forum search to see others experiences.

As above Re MOL battery...

But also don't forget that when you have the lights on you are drawing current and therefore will meter out the voltdrop.... so do your battery test voltages with all the kit switched off for the battery rest voltage.

Charging voltage will be up to 15.0v.

A good charged battery after surface charge will be 12.6v.

A surface charge below 12.1v would be a flat battery (below 50% SOC for a AGM)

Stop/start...regen...smart Alternator... Dc-dc Charger For Leisure Battery Or Not?
