Aftermarket Headunits (kenwood) Do

I have test fitted DNX9180DABS today.

At the front I have got Eton 2.1 fitted with some Silencoat to keep vibrations down. The rear speakers are Kenwood coaxial 17cm speakers.

Kenwood does not sound as good as basic VW headunit. I have tried all sorts of adjustments, but bass wise Kenwood is lacking compared to VW.
Is this cause Etons are design to be used with factory unit?

Any ideas where i am going wrong?

I’ve got the same unit ..but had other speakers fitted..I do know that you need to set up the sound via the head unit and Kenwood have a great support network.
If your like me “old” ..years ago we always got told that if you want good sound buy good speakers
